Your choice of web hosting and your domain’s safety is of utmost importance to Microvera. Therefore your web space subscription is prolonged automatically, and we always send out a renewal invoice 60 days before the payment period expires.

You receive the invoice in good time and can always reconsider your choice of web hosting provider, well before the 30 days cancellation notice. For the domain types administered directly through Microvera, a timely notification also secures that we renew the domain name in time.

If you do not want to renew your web space, please contact the Microvera support by email (sales@microvera.co.uk).

You can also send a cancellation as a letter to Microvera. In case that you send the cancellation by letter, the cancellation must bear your signature.

When you have submitted a cancellation, a confirmation will appear will be sent to you through email within 8 days. Your web space is only terminated when you have received this confirmation.

How can I cancel my domain name?

To cancel your domain, please contact the Microvera support by email (sales@microvera.co.uk).

If it’s been more than 2 days since the purchase date, you will not receive a refund but the domain can still be canceled by contacting support.

Can I just cancel through letter?

You can also send a cancellation as a letter to Microvera. In case that you send the cancellation by letter, the cancellation must bear your signature.

What happens to domain when a site is closed?

You will still be able to activate and renew any domain name you registered with Microvera even if you have no active sites. It’s just an email away.

How to cancel the entire website?

To cancel your entire account, you will need to close each site individually by sending us an email. If you do not renew your domain name, it will expire at the end of the current registration period.

What if I changed my mind and want to reactivate?

If you later decide to keep your site, simply let us know through email. Regular billing will resume when the site is reactivated.

What happens if I cancel my domain?

Warning: after cancellation, there is no guarantee the domain will become available to register somewhere else, and you may not be able to get it back. Keep in mind that you do have the option to keep the domain at Microvera, and use it elsewhere.

How to transfer a domain to another registrar?

If you would like to transfer your domain to another registrar, you must wait 60 days from the registration date. This is standard across all registrars and is a rule set by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). In addition, you may also need to wait 60 days after changing the contact information associated with domain registration.

What happens if I don’t renew my domain name?

Can I change my domain name?

Registered domain names cannot be changed, but you can register a new domain name for your account. Send us an email so we could help you.
