What is process color?

Process color, CMYK, and full color is “four color process printing.” The four color process is based on mixing pigments of the four base colors. Full-color printing is the dominant method of printing and is capable of reproducing a full range of color, required for reproducing color photographs in magazines, brochures and sometimes business cards.
